Yuri - de kleine astronaut

"YURI - de kleine astronaut" (the small astronaut) is a fictitious saturdaymorning childrens cartoon we created for the stageplay "Het Mooiste Geluid" (The Most Beautiful Sound) from the duo Arling & Arling, animated to the voices and music of the duo. The three episodes were being watched on-stage in their entirety by the main characters of the play, and tell of Yuri's search for the most delicious cake in the universe.

WILD - jagor simtest

Just a quick little sim test of Jagor's shenanigans. The guy needs to carry along all kinds of things (bags guns etc.) belted to his body, and has flappy bits all over. I'm trying to set something up that makes all these elements play nice together. 

Did simulations for his coat, bag+belt, hood, hat.

A work-in-progress DSi animation, just in the spirit of at least posting one piece per day. Not sure what will happen next here, or when cleanup and shading will be done, so, uhm, stay tuned?

Olaf at Noorderzon 2011

Did I mention Olaf will be viewable on the Noorderzon theatre Festival in Groningen this year? I didn't, did I? Well it is! On tuesday the 23rd and wednesday the 24th of august, 20.30 till 22.00, for €3,-, in the Iglo on the 'Speelweide'. Rest of the festival is a lot of fun as well. We'll be there!

Olaf screening invitations

Invitations for the Groninger screening of Olaf have left the building! If you're a VIP you should check your inbox. If you're a VIP I forgot to think about, mail me an angry message, please!

If you're, somehow, not a VIP at all, but would like to feel like one, you can still see our short film, on sunday the 15th of May, at 15.00h, in the Grand Theatre on the Grote Markt in Groningen.

Olaf viewings in Groningen

It has finally come to it: Olaf will be viewable in our hometown Groningen. Been half a year now that it officially premiered at the The Dutch Film Festival (NFF) in September 2010, but we've been far too busy at Happy Ship to be able to arrange for a viewing here. Until now!

On Sunday the 15th of May there'll be three viewings at the Grand Theatre on the Grote Markt in Groningen. One free-for-all at 15.00h, and two invites-only ones later on in the day, with drinks and silly things and the like. If you're not sure you're on the list, give me a shout.
